Alyson Hartsock

Since starting her career in the nonprofit industry, Alyson has had a passion for building relationships with people and helping them find meaningful ways to give back to the community. Her nonprofit experience has been focused on development and marketing with an emphasis on creating sustaining individual and institutional partnerships; planning mission-focused events; implementing cross-channel marketing campaigns; and activating board, staff and volunteer teams to meet organizational objectives. For nearly a decade, Alyson has been helping organizations like Make-A-Wish America, ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College, Cancer Support Community Arizona, The Phoenix Symphony and now Rosie’s House execute fundraising initiatives to reach and grow revenue targets. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and a Master of Business degree from Arizona State University.

Growing up, Alyson played piano, violin, cello and ukulele and credits her experiences with music for her academic successes and sense of community. She believes that music is an instrumental tool for enrichment in children’s lives and wants to help ensure that all youth, no matter their background, neighborhood or educational opportunities, have access to music education. Alyson is excited to be working with the Rosie’s House staff, faculty, Board of Directors and volunteers to give the gift of music to children throughout the Phoenix community.
