Meet the Athena
Athena Silis
Athena has been a part of Rosie’s House for six years, studying both piano and voice. For her, music is deeply personal:
“Music is important for me because it’s like food for the soul and a way to escape into a spiritual utopia.”
Throughout her time at Rosie’s House, Athena has grown not only as a musician but as a person. Her classes helped her develop discipline, expressiveness, and a deep appreciation for the emotional power of music. She shares, “I plan to use music to portray stories and emotions—whether at home, school, university, or wherever I go.”
This fall, Athena will begin her college journey at Grand Canyon University, where she will pursue a double major in Nursing and Piano Performance. Her dream is to blend the healing power of music with her commitment to caring for others.
With a strong sense of purpose and a deep love for music, Athena looks ahead with confidence, ready to shape her future—one note at a time.
