Piano

Requiring an intense amount of concentration and exceptional coordination, Piano is a foundational program at Rosie’s House.  Group classes emphasize a fun, nurturing environment for young beginners as they learn fundamental techniques. The curriculum includes performance, theory, and technique. Students selected for Individual lessons build on the solid foundation built within the group class, with tailored instruction and a strong mentoring relationship with their teacher. Assessment includes practice checks, comprehensive playing exams, and public performances.

The Keys to the Future Piano Classroom utilizes digital pianos featuring full-size digital keyboards with fully-weighted keys, multi-voice options, USB ports, and individual headphones. The master teacher’s piano keyboard interfaces with the learning keyboards used by students, allowing the teacher to interact with individual students or the class as a whole. Enrolled students are loaned a digital keyboard for home practice.
