EmiSunshine, teenage singer/songwriter, is bringing a taste of Tennessee to Arizona with a solo show at the @mimphx on Thursday. But first, she is stopping by Rosie's House: A Music Academy for Children for an intimate performance and Q&A session with our students! Rolling Stone named EmiSunshine among “Top 10 country music artists you need to know," and the 15-year old prodigy has been attracting national attention since she was nine years old. She has made appearances on The Today Show,” NBC’s “Little Big Shots,” “Pickler & Ben,” and elsewhere, including 14 performances at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, as well as performances at major festivals like CMA Fest and MerleFest. Critics have compared her to a young Janis Joplin and Dolly Parton. This special event is TODAY from 5-5:30 and all Rosie's House families and students are invited! #makemusic #countrymusic #countrymusicmonth #musiceducation

In the month of August, we received donations of 6 different kind of instruments including violin, viola, guitar, flute, keyboard and saxophone. Thanks to your help, all of our students are ready to start classes next week!

In 1999, Rosie's House students and faculty traveled to Salzburg, Austria which is the birthplace of Wolfgang Mozart. While there, they performed in a festival in honor of Mozart's birthday!

Rosie's House, the largest 100% free afterschool music program in Arizona, is currently accepting applications for new students through July 23. Classes will begin in September.
