ONE WEEK AWAY! Rosie's House Spring Semester begin ONE WEEK AWAY! Rosie's House Spring Semester begins on February 2nd. Students continue in their classes on the same day and time as the Fall 2020 Semester unless they are contacted by Rosie’s House program staff for changes. The online schedule can be found on our website, link in profile. We are excited to see our students and work hard together this semester!

Every year, Rosie's House hosts a Community Night Every year, Rosie's House hosts a Community Night to kick off the Fall Semester. The event is a celebration of the start of the Program Year and a way for teachers, students and families to come together and get excited for the new year. 2020 was no different! Earlier this month, over 50 people from our community attended the annual event. This year, it was virtual with seven breakout rooms where attendees played games that got their creative brains working. Highlights included a Disney Sing Along & Trivia Room hosted by clarinet teacher, Mr. Lopez. Overall, there was a genuine feeling of excitement to come together as a community - even in the virtual format. These photos are just a few snapshots of Community Night. Included are a virtual room full of attendees, Rosie's House parent, Maria, hosting lotería, a traditional game of chance and Mr. Lopez hosting a Sing-Along and Trivia featuring students' favorite Disney movies. Thank you to all you attended!

Our community of supporters (that's you!) helped us reach our fundraising goal for the Community Thrives challenge. That means Rosie's House will be considered for a $100,000 grant that will help our community grow and thrive. Thank you for always supporting our students!

#FunFactFriday is back! 🎉 Did you know that Ro #FunFactFriday is back! 🎉 Did you know that Rosie's House students come from over 200 different schools?! We love creating music with young people from all over the Valley and building community with each and every one of them!
Rosie's House classes start September 1st and stud Rosie's House classes start September 1st and students, parents, faculty and staff are all excited to come back together, virtually, and start making music. When asked what she hoped her daughter would gain from continuing at Rosie's House this coming program year, Susy Berumen said, "May she continue to increase her learning and her love for singing, music and culture." We can't wait to witness all the things our students learn this year!

Practicing piano for an hour, 6 days a week is not easy but they can tell how practice improves their musical abilities. Perseverance is one big bonus and appreciation of beautiful sounds is their reward." Classes start September 1st and we can't wait to see the musical journeys our students go on this year!
