Originally from California, Jordanna Matlock holds a Bachelors Degree in Bassoon Music Performance (BM) and a Masters Degree in Bassoon Music Performance (MM) from Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Arizona. During her masters, Jordanna was the Ethnomusicology teacher’s assistant for Dr. Ted Solis. She graduated Suma Cum Laude with her masters in 2017.
Jordanna gigs in and around the Phoenix area. She has played with Arizona State University Symphony Orchestra, Chandler Symphony, Scottsdale Symphony, Herberger Theatre, and Arizona Broadway Theatre. In addition to her classes at Rosie’s House. Jordanna also teaches bassoon at Basha High School, Sandra Day O’Connor High School and in her own private studio. She has also worked at the Musical Instrument Museum, Phoenix Center for the Arts, and the Phoenix Symphony.
