Maria Molina is the Music Explorations and Children’s Chorus instructor for Rosie’s House. She is a bilingual singer and songwriter with a love for teaching children, especially those coming from under-resourced communities. Maria worked as an elementary school teacher in her hometown of Jersey City, NJ, and taught general education students, children with special needs, and English as a Second Language learners. She has served her community through assignments with her church by leading children’s music lessons and directing adult choirs for Spanish speakers.
Maria moved to Arizona in 2019 and has made Phoenix her new home. In addition to her role at Rosie’s House, Maria works at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science as a Program Director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in Neuroscience and Education from Teachers College-Columbia University. Maria is excited to inspire her students through her passion for music and looks forward to helping them discover and develop their unique musical talents and abilities.
