Nathan Uhl, D.M.A.

Dr. Nathan Uhl is a talented and versatile pianist whose music career has taken him all over the world. He has received degrees from Lawrence Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin, and Herberger School for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University, where he completed a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano under the instruction of Dr. Andrew Campbell. He has performed in concerts across the United States, as well as Luxembourg and Germany, both as a soloist and a collaborator. Nathan is especially passionate about the music of Nikolai Medtner, of which he is a frequent and colorful interpreter. He has been the recipient of several grants and awards related to his research into the music of Medtner, and in 2016 he presented a paper at the International Medtner Festival in London. In addition to teaching group piano at Rosie’s House, Nathan also teaches piano and music theory at Phoenix College.
