Nick Kirby spends his weekdays as an Intellectual Property attorney at Snell & Wilmer’s Phoenix office. While there, and sometimes while not there, Nick helps clients protect intellectual property by acquiring patents, registering trademarks, and guiding them through the licensing process. He prepares and prosecutes patent applications related to software, business methods, semiconductors, mechanical devices and electronic devices, among other technologies. Nick also develops and implements strategies for licensing and asserting intellectual property rights.
Nick lives in Arizona and has since 1997. He attended high school in Tucson, and stayed down south to attend the University of Arizona for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Nick plays ice hockey in the desert, when he can. He also loves community involvement, particularly roles assisting young people grow. For Nick, serving on the Board at Rosie’s House opened a rewarding avenue to help young people improve themselves through music. He hopes you will get involved too.
Nick is fundraising for Rosie’s House for the 2017 Strike A Chord Campaign. Visit his fundraising page here.
