Musicians Active in Community (MAC) is a dynamic service learning program for Rosie’s House students. Rosie’s House partners with Banner University Medical Center, UMOM New Day Centers, VI Retirement Communities, and the Beatitudes Campus to provide interactive, uplifting, and informative concerts for community populations that have limited access to arts experiences. Curated and created by MAC students, the concerts fuse public speaking and public performance. Learning to speak and perform in public is a key youth development outcome of the MAC program.
