Musicians Mentoring in the Classroom Program (MMC) is a leadership and mentoring opportunity for both Rosie’s House and community students. Students in grades 8-12 can volunteer to be paired with a Rosie’s House teacher to aid and assist in the classroom for beginner-level classes. If you want to learn more about MMC, become a student volunteer, or if you have any other questions, send an email to success@rosieshouse.org.
Become a Student Mentor
Student mentors, who can be current or former Rosie’s House students or from outside the program, will assist a teacher by helping students with their music or classroom tasks. This program is for 8th-12th grade students who want to volunteer as student mentors in a Rosie’s House music class. At the end of the program, mentors will receive a certificate and a letter confirming their community service hours. Classes take place Monday through Thursday (3:30-8:00pm) and Saturdays (9:00am-1:00pm).
