Shawna Balzer has been a music educator in Arizona since 2011 serving students from kindergarten to 8th grade. A native of Arizona, Shawna received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Arizona State University. Shawna focuses on cultivating a safe learning community that encourages equitable participation, providing individualized instruction to each student, and providing opportunities for critical thinking and student to student interaction. Shawna has experience teaching band, choir, general music, class piano, and private lessons.
