Stephanie Flanagan is excited to join the Rosie’s House team as the Development and Events Coordinator. In this role, she helps advance the organization’s mission by coordinating fundraising events, engaging donors, and supporting stewardship efforts that strengthen community relationships and celebrate the power of free music education.
Before entering the nonprofit world, Stephanie spent ten years teaching band in public schools, where she helped students build skills, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. She focused on creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student could find their voice through performance and collaboration. As a saxophonist, Stephanie brings both her love of performing and her deep understanding of music to every student and program she supports. After her time in education, she moved into the nonprofit sector at A New Leaf, where she supported families experiencing homelessness by planning events and engaging donors and volunteers to help sustain programs that create a lasting impact in the community.
Stephanie holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music Education, earning her Bachelor’s from West Texas A&M University and her Master’s from Central Washington University. Her background in music and education continues to inspire her commitment to expanding access to the arts.
Since moving to Arizona, Stephanie has fallen in love with the Valley and its vibrant arts community. She is excited to support Rosie’s House’s mission to ensure that every child has access to free music education and the transformative opportunities it brings.
