Student mentors—who may be current or former Rosie’s House students or individuals from outside the program—support teachers by assisting students with music learning and classroom tasks. The program is a semester-long commitment: September–December (Fall) and January–April (Spring). At the end of each term, mentors receive both a certificate of completion and a letter verifying their community service hours.

Rosie’s House offers volunteer opportunities for students in grades 7–12 to earn community service hours. By joining our volunteer contact list, you’ll be notified about upcoming opportunities such as setting up for events, preparing snacks for programs, greeting guests, assisting with AV needs, and more. Each event is a stand-alone commitment, so you can choose the opportunities that best fit your schedule and interests.

At Rosie’s House, our Mental Health & Wellness Initiative promotes healing and emotional well-being through music. In partnership with Terros Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Community Foundation, we provide critical mental health resources and challenge stigma. This program offers counseling, support groups, and wellness education, creating a safe space for students to thrive musically and emotionally.
